DAY 1: CUSCO – ABRA MALAGA - SANTA MARIA.

Early in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel to board the private transport that will take us to Abra Malaga (4350 m.), from where we will prepare to descend by bike to the jungle of Cusco through small rustic villages, orchards and rivers. Then we arrive at the archaeological complex of Huamanmarca where we have a guided tour. Finally we will go to the city of Santa Maria, located a few hours walk from Huamanmarca, where we will spend the night.

DAY 2: SANTA MARIA - QUELLOMAYU - COCALMAYO - SANTA TERESA.

After a hearty breakfast we will begin the walk that starts at 6 am. Stroll along the banks of the Vilcanota river, cross the oroya and pedestrian bridges, in this route you can also find original Inca trails. After a trek through the woods we will find plantations of papaya, coca and coffee, some fruit trees such as mango, pineapple, orange and passion fruit as well as medicinal plants and in turn we can appreciate exotic birds.

Then we will go to Qellomayo where we will have our delicious lunch. Finally we will go to the baths of Santa Teresa, where we will spend the night.

DAY 3: SANTA TERESA - MACHU PICCHU PUEBLO.

After the delicious breakfast, we will take a private transport to a small town (Lucmabamba), which is the entrance to another Inca trail from where we will walk for about 3 hours, appreciating the fauna of the place, among which parrots, exotic birds, snakes, butterflies etc. Until reaching the area of ​​Llactapata where we can enjoy spectacular views of Machu Picchu. We will walk for 3 more hours descending between coca plantations and fruit trees like orange and papaya until arriving at Inca Inca Raqay, where we will have our delicious lunch. Finally we will walk for 2 more hours to Machu Picchu Town where we will spend the night.

DAY 4: MACHU PICCHU PUEBLO - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO.

We will get up early in the morning to begin our ascent to the archaeological site of Machu Picchu which we can do walking or taking the buses that go from the city of Machu Picchu to the archaeological site of Machu Picchu. Once we have entered Machu Picchu we will have a guided tour for approximately 2 hours, then we will have time to explore the archaeological center on our own and take souvenir photos.
Finally, we must all be at the train station of Machu Picchu Pueblo at 18:00 with all our belongings to board the train that will take us back to Ollantaytambo where our private transport will be waiting for us to make the return trip to Cusco.
